A Year Changes Ev-er-y-thing

Boy, oh boy! We have a lot of catching up to do!

The last thing I posted on here was that I was a month away from graduating with my Associate degree and was going to be on a celebratory road trip. Well, I did both. The week and half or so that I spent on the road was just what the doctor had ordered. I was in dire need of some inspiration and damnit, mother nature delivered!

First, I graduated. Yay. I 100% guarantee that I did a stupid dance and made direct eye contact with the camera man while doing so. Totally worth it.

I am now a year away of graduating from Northern Arizona University with my Bachelor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EEEEE!).

Next, the mother of all road trips!

I had to keep it real and fulfill my dream of driving a Ford Mustang convertible on the open road. I started in Tucson, Arizona and all I knew was that at some point I would need to drive to Montrose, Colorado to say “HEYYY” to my family. I was alone the whole time in between though, which at first was terrifying. But after a couple of hours, I was totally okay with it, (the fact that my boyfriend was a phone call away didn’t hurt, either).

The first stop on the (ad)VENTURE was Flagstaff, Arizona. I arrived early afternoon to this adorable hostel in the heart of the city. My room consisted of four beds and three girl roommates. The doorknob on my door did NOT work at all. So, my arrival was made super awkward when I had to wake up a sleeping stranger to let me in. She was cool though, thank God.

I have never stayed in a hostel and despite the weird doorknob issue, it was enjoyable. I would have liked to stay longer than a night to get to know the other travelers, because they had good vibes going. Some of them were from England and all across the states, which could have been interesting.18954854_10211093294101198_5238770207156573889_o

The next stops will be for my next post….

Stay tuned!
